Event website design
This is a UX/UI project I was design lead on for a large annual company event. I utilized Figma as a design and collaboration tool, the first time at this company for anyone to use it for such purposes.
When this template was implemented for a large annual event, we saw 60% improvement in page views, 42% improvement in engagement time, and 20% improvement in engagement rate. This was a big win as it increased registration and ROI. The live site where this template was implemented can be found here.
Pain Points
There were a few pain points from the old site that I needed to address on the new website design:
It was not visually appealing, contributing to an underwhelming user experience
High bounce rate
Low conversion rate
After some initial research and brainstorming, I started the design process by Wireframing a couple of layouts.
Wireframe
I moved from an initial hand-drawn wireframe to the digital wireframe to get stakeholder approval before getting into the high-fidelity mockup.
